However, this game system is the equivalent to a grade schoolers attempts to run a Warhammer RPG. All player character archetypes are artificially and sometimes comically equalized. Eldar Corsairs, thousand-year-old elf space pirates, are equated to Hive Gangers and Cultists, while the Tech-Priest sits alongside Space Marines at the big boy table.
During character creation, it becomes very clear that there is little to no definition between an assassin and imperial guardsman besides maybe talent options and a generally lackluster perk. Iconic characters such as Rogue Traders and Inquisitors, some might describe as the two most powerful normal humans the Imperium has running around, are boiled down to individual traits that simply add dice to specific skills.
I have heard the game runs smoothly on its own, and people swear by the ruleset. So if you are looking for a Warhammer ish system to play a RPG game then this might be a game for you.
